At Monday April 28th's Council Meeting, there was yet another shortage of agenda and Resolution handouts for the public. This has been a recurring problem for some time now. This meeting had the important 2025 budget presentation, which also lacked adequate handout materials.

There were approximately 20 to 30 attendees sitting in the gallery for the Budget Presentation. However, quite a few members of the public had to share the copies of the meeting agenda and handouts with each other, as there were not enough copies available. This is unacceptable, and continues to be a concern.

A resident, during the Public Portion, brought up this concern again, and pushed that these materials should be made available ahead of time on the Borough website. The resident stated people would be better prepared to ask questions at Council Meetings if they were able to read everything before coming to the meeting.

After the resident walked back to her seat, you could hear Councilwoman Zamorski asking Borough Attorney Maciag if there needs to be a motion made to put the information online, as it has been done in the past. It was unclear what his response was, or if this will happen.

In the spirit of transparency, the Borough of Manville should consider uploading meeting documents online prior to Council Meetings, as they had done this in the past. It was only recently that the Borough only posts the general agenda, omitting attachments of Resolutions and other paperwork.

Residents in the audience were frustrated how there were not enough copies of materials available, and that everyone had to share them with each other. Especially during an important meeting introducing the Borough's budget for 2025.
