The Manville Borough Council held its rescheduled meeting on Thursday, January 29th, where the agenda largely consisted of routine business, including the introduction of two new ordinances and several resolutions.

Before the public portion on resolutions began, the Mayor yielded the floor to Council President Lukac, who requested an amendment to the agenda to add Resolution #2026‑078: Appoint Business Administrator. The Council approved the amended agenda, and the meeting proceeded.

Following the close of the public portion, the new resolution was read into the record. Upon completion of reading the resolution, Council President Lukac indicated that "either the Mayor or Council President is authorized to execute the Memorandum of Employment between the Borough of Manville and Gabriella Siboni".

The Mayor called for a vote which was approved 5 - 0, as Councilwoman Jade Puia was not in attendance for the meeting. Mayor Onderko administered the oath of office to Ms. Siboni, whose appointment became effective January 30, 2026.

This marks a significant step for the Borough, which has been engaged in an extensive search for the right candidate. Throughout that time, a consulting firm provided interim administrative support since February 2025, while the Council continued its evaluation process.
