On Thursday July 3rd, a special meeting agenda was posted to the Borough of Manville’s website. The Mayor & Council will be having a special meeting on Monday, July 7th, at 4pm in the afternoon.
The agenda shows that a vote will be taken to hire a Municipal Clerk / Registrar / Deputy Administrator. The agenda also includes the hiring of a new police officer.
According to Resolution (#2025-178), Gabriella Siboni will be hired as Manville's Borough Clerk, Registrar, and Deputy Administrator. She will be appointed for a 3-year term, starting on July 7th.
However, there is a provision that Ms. Siboni's first 90 days will be subject to a probationary period, at which the Borough of Manville can re-evaluate the terms and conditions of her employment.
Ms. Siboni's salary will be $75,000 per year, pro-rated to the July 7th start date. She will be working at Borough Hall 2 days per week, and 1 day per week remotely. Ms. Siboni will not receive health benefits or vacation time, but will be entitled to sick time.
The second agenda item is the hiring of a new police officer, Kieran Green, at a salary of $64,600, effective July 28th.
ManvilleToday will be attending the Special Meeting, and we will report on any additional developments.
