After the Closed Session concluded during Monday April 28th's Council Meeting, Council returned with action to be taken.

A Resolution was read into the record, promoting Manville Police Sergeant Nickolas Franzoso to Lieutenant. The promotion to Lieutenant will be effective as of May 1st.

According to the Resolution text, the promotional process was conducted to select the most suitable candidate for promotion to the position of Lieutenant in the Manville Borough Police Department.

Chief of Police Craig Jeremiah recommended the appointment of Sergeant Nickolas Franzoso to Lieutenant, and the Mayor and Council accepted the recommendation. It was voted on by Council, receiving unanimous approval.

The promotion will take effect on May 1st at an annual salary of $178,188, per Resolution #2025-109.
