On Friday morning, May 22nd, notice went out after 9am via Nixle that Manville’s Memorial Day parade would be held on Sunday.

Then, shortly after 12:30pm, another message went out stating the parade has been canceled.

In reviewing the weather forecast for Memorial Day weekend, it does appear rain will be a factor impacting many Memorial Day weekend plans throughout the area, which was why officials decided to cancel the parade for Sunday.
