As of 7am Thursday, there is a Flood Watch in effect for our area through 6am on Friday, August 1st.
We have created a weather alert section on our website, which is in beta test mode, where you can see the latest Watches, Warnings, and other weather alerts specifically for Manville. You can access the weather section here. We will also send out alerts via our free Manville.Today smartphone app.
In regards to today's potential storms, the Manville OEM Facebook page posted the following information on Wednesday evening:
"While we expect no river flooding from these storms. There could be a possibility of flash flooding in some areas. To protect vehicles from potential flooding, we suggest residents move cars from low-lying areas to higher ground. The Rustic Mall parking lot on East Camplain Road will be available if needed."
Manville.Today will be monitoring the weather, and we will pass along information as needed.
