Wednesday morning, on September 24th, several officers from the Manville Police Department were at Dunkin' Donuts for an event.

Members of the Manville community were able to meet with, and talk with, Manville's police officers. Chief Craig Jeremiah was also present.

Coffee with a cop is a new event that is held yearly. It allows for the community of Manville to visit Dunkin' Donuts for a free coffee, and most importantly, interact with those who protect and serve our community.

The Manville Police do hard work, some of which is not always seen, but their hard work does not go unnoticed.

They are first on the scene after a call to 911, whether it's for a medical emergency, a domestic dispute, or even a wellness check. The police respond to all types of calls. They also serve the community during times of town-wide emergencies, such as flooding.

The Manville Police, along with any police officer, put their lives on the line every single day. This new yearly event is a great way for those to visit officers and have a discussion.
