Back to School season is here! Summer is quickly coming to an end. There are ways for families in need to receive free school supplies, as well as free or reduced-price lunch for their children.

First, happening this Tuesday, August 26th, from 6pm to 7:30pm, the Manville Relief Center & Manville Democratic Club will be hosting a Back to School supply event at the Manville Library.

Families in need of school supplies can visit the Community Room at the library Tuesday evening.

Proof of student registration will be required, by showing the "Genesis Home Screen" on your smartphone.

School supplies will be handed out for free, on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be quantity limits in place, to ensure the maximum amount of families can receive help.

The second program is for free and reduced-price lunch. The Manville School District has an application available to fill out. You can access the application here, or receive a paper application at your child's school, to see if your family qualifies.

Applications for free or reduced-price lunch are due by September 15th.
