Last Saturday's Community Day in Manville was a joyful celebration of togetherness. It was made even more special by its pairing with National Night Out. Thanks to Manville's Recreation Department, and our incredible Manville Police, Fire, and Rescue teams, the event was packed with fun, connection, and hometown pride.
From snow cones and hayrides to games galore, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Residents had the opportunity to meet our first responders, explored their vehicles and equipment, and got an up-close look at the pink cancer awareness police car -- a crowd favorite!
Glenn Kaestner kept the energy high with music that set the perfect tone for the festivities.
Local and county organizations came out in full force, sharing resources and information at their booths - including the Surrogate's Office, Board of Health, and Manville Library, just to name a few.
A heartfelt thank you to the volunteers who made it all happen -- from setup to cleanup, cooking to game-running. The time, energy, and community spirit turned this day into a true Manville moment.
Community is what Manville is all about.
