During Wednesday's Manville Board of Education meeting, the Board paused its regular agenda to recognize Board Member Mrs. Sharon Lukac for earning her Master Board Member (MBM) Certification through the New Jersey School Boards Association's (NJSBA) Board Member Academy.
The Master Board Member designation is the third and highest level of individual certification offered by NJSBA.
To achieve this status, board members must complete 40 cumulative credits in professional development and training, participate in county and state programs including NJSBA Delegate Assemblies, and successfully complete a formal examination.
ManvilleToday congratulates Mrs. Lukac on this accomplishment and thanks her for her continued dedication to the Manville School District and its students.
