On Tuesday, the Borough shared on social media that "Tax bills will be mailed July 31st. Payments due September 2nd. No 10-day grace period."

During the Council meeting held on July 13th, a Resolution (#2026-155) was adopted which extended the tax due date to August 19th. It now appears from this social media post that the new due date will be September 2nd.

We expect the terms in the Resolution approved on July 13th will adjust based on the new September date once the Borough formally modifies the revised due date.

The Resolution stated that "the grace period for the August 2026 property tax bill is extended to August 19, 2026, after which time said payments will be delinquent and subject to interest penalties calculated from August 1, 2026".

While the bills have not yet been mailed, they are available to view online on the Borough's property tax portal website.
